This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations for movies and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice as Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game. When I watch cinematic trailers or video game footage, I often think that some of them will make it onto the most popular TV show. I knew the creators of Love Death and Robots would nail their next animated anthology series, and I’m excited to be proven right. The Warhammer episode was definitely a highlight for me and one that I really hope to see more of in the future. My only complaint would be spending more time on certain episodes. There are so many solid video game stories that this show could delve into and fit into more detailed episodes. The possibilities are very interesting and I’m glad they’re good. I’ve gone for grit and an adult tone throughout. I’m really happy with what’s been shown so far and I’m excited to see what the future holds. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
