Chronology
A former Drug Enforcement Administration agent and a former undercover agent rekindle their romance during a fateful weekend in Taipei, unaware of the dangerous consequences of their past.. Xinyi, Kelti International Building, represents the headquarters of Kwang, but only in the initial wall.

The only redeeming feature of Weekend in Taipei was Taipei itself. Cinematography managed to capture some beautiful shots of the city and culture.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end
The film was disjointed, with characters who seemed one-dimensional and difficult to connect with. Any emotional moments were weighed down by bad dialogue, making it hard to feel anything for the characters.
Combat units (except for some initial walls) were disappointing
It’s a shame that such a great setting was wasted on a standard and boring popcorn action game. If you’re hoping for an exciting story, you won’t find it here.
